My Garden Keeps Growing. :)

Yesterday, after Kenny's T-ball game, I took Zach over to Armstrong Garden Center and bought $30 worth of flowers. They were having a big sale and I couldn't pass up the good deals. I bought 8 new flowers: Blue Felicia Pinwheel, Sassy Dark Red Geraniums, White Madeira Daisies, Mini Yellow Outback Daisies, Floral Lace Dianthus, White Snow Crystals and Brachyscome Purple/Verbena Pink (12 inch hanging plant).

I spent this afternoon planting most of my flowers. The only one I didn't get planted was the White Snow Crystals. I'll have to get them planted sometime this week. I also added vitamins to all of my plants, except for my fruits/veggies. I'll need to get special vitamins for those.

Here are some pictures of my newly planted flowers:

Floral Lace Dianthus, planted 4/18/10. I thought these were pretty and they attract butterflies and hummingbirds, which is a big bonus for me.

Pink Jasmine, planted 4/18/10. Smells SO good!!

Mini Yellow Outback Daisies, planted 4/18/10. These are native to Australia. I can't get over how cute they are, little mini daisies.

White Madeira Daisies, planted 4/18/10. I thought these were SO pretty when I saw them yesterday. I just had to get them.

Blue Felicia Pinwheel, planted 4/18/10. These Daisy-like flowers bloom beautifully to invite butterflies into the garden. They aren't blooming yet, but they are really pretty and delicate.

Sassy Dark Red Geraniums, planted 4/18/10. These were just too pretty to pass up.

My hanging plant: Brachyscome Purple/Verbena Pink. Hung up 4/17/10.

White Snow Crystals. Not planted yet.

On Thursday, 4/8/10, I spent 3 hours in my garden. I planted all the flowers, fruits and veggies that I brought back from my parent's house (we visited them from 4/3/10-4/7/10. Spent Easter up there). I bought a bunch of plants up there and my mom gave me some plants from her garden. So, without further ado, here are the pics from Thursday:

finch sock filled with nyger seed. Still waiting for the birds to notice it, but it's only been three days.

There's a HUGE sale at the Armstrong Garden Center. Everything is 70% off, so I'm gonna head on over there in the next few days to see what I can find. :) I still have some space to fill up in my garden.

Big gardening day!! :D

I had a fun gardening day today!! :D The weather was perfect for it too, sunny and gorgeous!! I started out with the English lavender and then the African daisies. Then, I went to the store and bought some merigolds, pansies and a tomato plant. I thought it would be fun to have my hubby take some action shots of me starting the garden. So, here they are, along with pics of my flowers:
