Big gardening day!! :D

I had a fun gardening day today!! :D The weather was perfect for it too, sunny and gorgeous!! I started out with the English lavender and then the African daisies. Then, I went to the store and bought some merigolds, pansies and a tomato plant. I thought it would be fun to have my hubby take some action shots of me starting the garden. So, here they are, along with pics of my flowers:

New Gardening Journal; impatiens

So, I am really excited about my new hobby (gardening)!!!! :D The plan was for me to have a potted flower garden in the back yard, but after planting some impatiens in a pot (last Saturday), I decided that having a bunch of little pots everywhere was impractical and I might as well fill up the planter with plants and flowers. I bought two more plants when I was at Target yesterday (lavendar and African daisies). I'm going to plant them tomorrow afternoon. I can't wait!!! I need to start planning out what other flowers and plants I want to plant out there. I would like to plant some pansies and jasmin and maybe more impatiens. I also want to buy a hanging plant (maybe I'll do that tomorrow). Wheeeeeeeeeee, so excited!!! :D

So, the first plant in my garden is impatiens that were planted in a pot on Saturday, March 20th. Here are two pictures of them that I took that same day:
